Kelly Cutrone is My Hero

Ok, so I think we all know that I'm addicted to "The City", but this hero first made her debut on "The Hills".

Kelly Cutrone is like none other. I consider her a hero for these reasons: she's a real ball buster (and she has none), she's a fashion icon and the founder of the PR branding and marketing firm People's Revolution, and lets face it, the girl calls it like she sees it. I mean, she told Stephanie Pratt at her interview “So you basically want to use my experience and my clients and my inside knowledge to ultimately leave here and make your own handbags?” Stephanie takes it back. Kelly asks if Stephanie knows how to make labels, speak French, and refrain from crying in the office. Stephanie says "she'll learn".

Post-interview, Kelly wants to talk to Lauren about Stephanie. Kelly is scared of hiring Stephanie but says that her inclination is to let her try because "the interview was such a folly that she could be a freaking genius."

When Kelly first interviewed Whitney, she informed her "I think it's really important to let you know this - You're basically making a deal with the devil." Whitney of course asks, "Why do you say that?" "Because you have to give up your life... The good news is you get a whole new one."

My most favorite quote "This is called multi-tasking, the power-bitch way."

No Boro' for the Snellings

Ok, so you know those moments in life where you've got "everything figured out" and then it just changes? Thats happened to us just recently.

After a trip to Statesboro over the weekend, Lee and I decided that it just wasn't the best fit for our family at the time. Needless to say, Lee has decided to not accept the position at Georgia Southern, so here we stay for a while. Am I excited? A little. It's not so fun to watch someone you love feel as though a great opportunity has past them by, but it was for the best we feel.

So what does this mean? Well, we will still be at good ol' GCSU for a while and that the job search continues.

I know my very talented and nerdy husband will find what works best for him!
